About Us: Our Philosophy & The Montessori Method
"Dustin was the youngest in his class, yet was tested for the High Potential program and is in the top 7% of his class nationally. We attribute this in large part to KinderRead Montessori."
At KinderRead Montessori, our philosophy is simple: Give children the space, tools, and guidance to succeed-and they will. We provide a nurturing and structured environment where kids learn self-care, care for others, and care for their environment. Our family atmosphere promotes patience and respect among children of different ages through partner-learning activities and self-imposed rules.
The Montessori Method
Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, the Montessori Method fundamentally emphasizes and respects the development of a child's own initiative and natural abilities, especially through practical play. Montessori concepts and materials provide space and tools for children to develop at their own pace. Children learn through activities that involve exploration, manipulations, order, repetition, abstraction, and communication.
